This bombilla (Filtro de Resorte) has a spring style filter wrapped around the bottom. It actually expands to fit against the sides of the mate, which does a great job of blocking any loose yerba from getting through. It’s definitely a step up in terms of filtration compared to my first spoon bombilla. If you hate getting dust in your sips, this is the one to get.

Best for: Fine cut yerba. The spring filter is super effective at catching those tiny particles, making it a top tier choice if you prefer a more powdery blend.

Cleaning tip: Just slide the spring off.
